Originally contracted on request from the United States Marine Corps to help enhance the ergonomics and length of pull issues of the M16A4’s, it was paramount that it kept the reliability of the rifle buffer system. The A5 not only accomplished the USMC goals, it also added extra benefits to the buffer system. In short, the A5 gives your AR the smoothest, most efficient and consistent cycling possible from your recoil system.

A5 receiver extension (buffer tube) machined from 7075T6 and manufactured to Mil-Spec dimensions and specifications. Mil-Spec receiver extensions have a slightly smaller dimension where the stock slides on.
