Gunsmithing Services Information

Please note that upon inspection, our gunsmith will consult with you to establish what services are to be provided on your product.

Terms of Agreement

I. Parties

This Agreement concerns the scope of gunsmithing services to be performed by Stockpile Defense for the above-mentioned Customer. Stockpile Defense hereby agrees to perform gunsmithing services for Customer based upon Customer’s requested needs or desires. This Agreement is legally binding between Stockpile Defense and Customer upon the signatures of both parties.

II. Terms

Stockpile Defense hereby certifies that all gunsmithing services performed on Customer’s firearm will be performed by a qualified gunsmith. In terms of this Agreement, a qualified gunsmith is any individual employed by Stockpile Defense who has received formal training, certification, licensing, or other such qualified education from a known and reputable industry source to service, repair, modify, or assemble a firearm. The gunsmith employed by Stockpile Defense will complete a gunsmithing report upon servicing Customer’s firearm and will furnish said report to Customer upon rendering service. The gunsmithing report will include, at a minimum, a job description which generally describes the services performed, the parts replaced or repaired on the firearm, and the labor performed on the firearm.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER:

Customer hereby agrees and understands that gunsmithing services performed by Stockpile Defense are narrow in scope and nature unless specified otherwise. Stockpile Defense neither warrants nor certifies the safety and function of Customer’s firearm beyond the scope of the gunsmithing services rendered. This means that Stockpile Defense is not liable for any malfunction or damage to Customer’s firearm which occurs or results from uses that are beyond the services performed by Stockpile Defense. Stockpile Defense warrants only the services performed by its’ qualified gunsmith and those services listed in the gunsmithing report.

III. Payment

Customer agrees to pay for all gunsmithing services in full at the time service is performed and Customer picks up the serviced firearm. If Customer cannot pay for the service, Customer’s firearm will be held as collateral until payment can be made in full. In the event of failed payment, Customer agrees to render payment in full within forty-five (45) days or Customer’s firearm may be forfeited to recover payment of Customer’s requested gunsmithing services. In the event of failed payment and forfeiture, Stockpile Defense agrees to sell Customer’s firearm for the reasonable market value of the firearm. After deducting the appropriate fees and expenses incurred for Customer’s gunsmithing services, any surplus money will be refunded to Customer in the form of a business check within thirty (30) days.
