Forward Controls Design ASC ALS Spring Cap

 

Breakage is no longer a concern.

 

Forward Controls Design ASC (ALS Spring Cap) is a direct drop in replacement for Safariland’s 6354RDS, 6390RDS, 6360RDS, 7390RDS, 7360RDS holsters with an external ALS plastic spring cap.

 

Not all Safariland  holsters with ALS feature have the external ALS spring cap. If your Safariland holster has an external ALS spring cap as shown below, ASC is compatible with it.
ASC is incompatible with the DO version as shown below:

Machined from solid 6061 aluminum blocks and Type III anodized in black, ODG, or FDE, ASC’ is strong and durable by virtue of its aluminum billet construction, its wall is 57% thicker as well, adding to its already impressive strength, ASC is a worthy addition to Safariland’s superb lines of duty RDS holsters. To install ASC, unscrew the ALS cap retaining screw, remove the factory plastic spring cap. Remove the ALS spring, take care to note the orientation of the spring, use a pair of needle nose pliers to reinstall the spring in ASC.  Reinstall the ALS cap retaining screw.
